Meet Our Team

Founder, Principle Designer
My name is Ashleigh. I founded Harty Homes in 2022 with a mission to create homes that inspire people to find their true style.
I've always been a creative and artistic person. I studied dance and music in high school and college, played guitar and was a member of several bands. I attended the University of South Carolina, where I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice while performing as a member of the university's show choir.
From 2006 until 2022, I worked as an investigator. Most of my investigative work involved asbestos litigation, which required me to learn about various engineering, industrial, and construction jobs. Communicating and working with various trades and artisans has always been one the best aspects of the work.
In 2020, I decided to pursue my passion of interior design. I enrolled in the Interior Design program through the New York Institute of Art and Design and graduated in 2022. I am currently a member of the Interior Design Society (IDS), the Designer Society of America (DSA) and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).

Junior Designer
My name is Hannah Rivera and I joined Harty Homes in 2026. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in 2023 from Virginia Tech where I learned how to integrate conceptual ideas into functional design. After graduating, I worked as an Interior Designer with a local architecture firm on various commercial projects. I bring experience in concept development, schematic design, design development, and construction documents from my previous work. I enjoy the balance between the technical and creative aspects of interior design.
At Harty Homes, I support the design team through all phases of design projects by sourcing materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures for presentations and assisting with project management tasks. I am excited to apply the knowledge and experience I have to residential design and learn more along the way!
In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, running, and experimenting in the kitchen!

Administrative Assistant
My name is Han, and I joined the Harty Homes team in 2024. My background is primarily in government administration, where I worked with vital records, loan portfolios, and office operations. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong eye for organization, detail, and creating smooth experiences behind the scenes.
Creativity has always been one of the biggest parts of who I am. I've always loved art and design, especially watercolor painting. I’m constantly inspired by nature, something that comes from growing up in Canada.
At Harty Homes, I’m involved in many different aspects of the business, including website design, accounting, photography, staging, and much of the day-to-day project coordination such as tracking orders, deliveries, and receivables. I love being part of both the creative and operational sides of the company and helping bring each project together from start to finish.

Designer Assistant
Hi! My name is Alana, and I joined the Harty Homes team in 2024. My journey started at Old Dominion Universitywhere I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. After graduating, I discovered my true passion for Interior Design — something I’ve loved since I was little, constantly rearranging my room and finding creative ways to make spaces feel both beautiful and functional.
At Harty Homes, I work closely with our clients throughout the design process, helping bring their vision to life through thoughtful selections, communication, and collaboration. I love being part of creating spaces that not only look amazing, but truly feel like home for each client. One of my favorite parts of my job is working alongside such a talented and supportive team that genuinely cares about our clients and each other. The creativity, teamwork, and passion within Harty Homes makes every project exciting and rewarding.

3D Rendering & Drawings Assistant
My name is Mary. I joined the Harty Homes team in 2026. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration, but my love for interior design led me to pursue a new career path within the industry. I obtained my Associate Degree in Interior Design at Tidewater Community College, where I developed my creative design skills and discovered my interest in design software for generating realistic renderings.
At Harty Homes, I am able to enjoy my passion for transforming design concepts into 3D realistic visualizations and provide support to the design team in producing detailed presentations for clients.
Apart from my love of interior design, I enjoy traveling, going out for coffee, and visiting art exhibitions and museums.
