My name is Ashleigh. I founded Harty Homes in 2021 with a mission to create homes that inspire people to find their true style. Why did you choose your home and how can we maximize its potential?

I'm the daughter of a realtor, and I've always been a creative and artistic person.  I studied dance and music in high school and college, played guitar and was a member of several bands.  I attended the University of South Carolina, where I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice while performing as a member of the university's show choir.

From 2006 until 2022, I worked as an investigator. I performed contract work as a compliance investigator for Health Departments in three states and in 2009, became a legal investigator.  I worked for a local law firm for 13 years.

I learned so much during my career as an investigator.  I listened carefully to clients and witnesses, capturing important details to strengthen our case.  I worked in asbestos litigation and learned about various engineering, industrial and construction jobs. The skills I gained as an investigator help me to listen to and understand the needs and desires of my design clients.

In 2020, I decided to pursue my passion of interior design.  I enrolled in the Interior Design program through the New York Institute of Art and Design, and graduated in 2022.

I am currently a member of the Interior Design Society (IDS), the Designer Society of America (DSA) and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).
